These charming and friendly log cabins are a short walk to the
Buffalo National River. Canoeing and rafting services are also within
walking distance. These cabins have central heat and air, and a
wood-burning fireplace. The kitchens in these cabins are equipped with
microwave, stove, refrigerator and cooking utensils. They also feature
a spa tub for two. In addition a charcoal grill is provided for
your meals. You will want to bring charcoal or purchase it at the
Gilbert General Store. The river cabins have a quaint front porch where
you can catch the gentle breezes of the Ozarks and are located close to
the river road..
Sleeping arrangements:
Down stairs is a cozy queen size bed where you can snuggle up for
a lazy nap. Upstairs is a loft running the full length of the cabin,
just like the original pioneer cabins. The loft has two spacious full
beds and one twin. . A VCR is furnished with a few complimentary movies.
You may rent movies in Marshall at Show Biz Video. Located on Highway 65
next door to Terry Gage Chevy. There is no telephones or televisions
service. There is a pay telephone located on the porch of the Gilbert
General Store. The phone is within walking distance.
Amenities:
Wood: In the winter and fall one load of firewood is
furnished. If you should need more wood there is a charge.
Bath towels: One bath towel is furnished per guest. Please do not take
these towels to the river. You will want to bring River towels with you.
