BUFFALO BENJAMIN'S CABIN

Deluxe log cabin accommodations on the Buffalo National River. You walk up to a set of long steps to this palatial  cedar log cabin. It was designed to resemble a pioneer  log cabin, but on a more regal scale, with all the modern amenities. Yes, the ladies will love it even if their husbands slip off to go fishing. The large kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, and stove as well as microwave, and cooking utensils. Central heat and air provide comfort in any season. Congregate with family and friends around the gas-burning fireplace. This cabin also features a splendid hot tub for two in the spacious comfort station.

The cabin is within walking distance of the  Buffalo National River and is the last cabin on our private river cabin road. Cool off on a summer afternoon at the Gilbert swimming hole or hike the historic Missouri and North Arkansas Railroad grade to Red Bluff.

Set out on the log porch and listen to the tree frogs, or watch the fireflies light up the sky. In the fall you might catch a glimpse of a bald eagle, or hear a choir of geese as they land for the night. It's a great place reflect on the wonders of creation.

Sleeping arrangements:
Down stairs is a cozy queen size bed where you can snuggle up for a lazy nap. A loft runs the entire length of the cabin just like the original pioneer cabins. The loft features three spacious full beds, no crawl space in this loft! The family room also has a sofa that pulls out into a bed.

A VCR and a few complimentary movies are furnished. You may rent movies in Marshall at Show Biz Video. Located on Highway 65 next door to Terry Gage Chevy. There are no telephones or television service. There is a pay telephone located on the porch of the Gilbert General Store. The phone is within walking distance.
